The only useful thing the UN ever did was to give Israel
its land that was promised as England pulled out of the area and ignored their
mission, and instead only splitting up the land for Arab peoples. Now the UN
doesn't give a damn about Israel. You want to know my feelings about the UN?

Remember that little, Palestinian boy shot by the Israeli
soldiers? The evidence shown in court wasn't very convincing. I am very

what you saw but the court case apparently didn't provide very good evidence.
You might have to reconsider your position.

Professor Bart D. Ehrman wrestles with the question -- Why do we
suffer? -- and the implications of the often-contradictory answers he
finds. In his new book "God's Problem: How the Bible Fails to Answer
Our Most Important Question -- Why We Suffer," Ehrman meditates upon
how the Bible explains human suffering, why he finds the explanations
unconvincing, and why he gave up on being a Christian. Dr. Ehrman
said:
"If there is an all-powerful and loving God in this world, why is
there so much excruciating pain and unspeakable suffering? The problem
of suffering has haunted me for a very long time. It was what made me
begin to think about religion when I was young, and it was what led me
to question my faith when I was older. Ultimately, it was the reason I
lost my faith. This book tries to explore some aspects of the problem,
especially as they are reflected in the Bible, whose authors too
grappled with the pain and misery in the world."

NICOSIA, Cyprus (AP) -- Marine archaeologists will begin work in June
to uncover the sand-buried hull of a 2,300-year-old ship thought to
have been ferrying wine when it sank off the coast of Cyprus,
researchers said Thursday.
The ship, dating from the fourth century B.C., is one of only a few to
have been found so well-preserved, and it may shed light on the
nautical and economic history of the period in the east Mediterranean,
said Stella Demesticha, a University of Cyprus visiting marine
archaeologist.
Underwater photographs from initial surveying dives in November show
dozens of amphorae -- large terra-cotta vases used in antiquity to
transport liquids and solid foodstuffs -- lying on the seabed in the
shape of the ship.
The ship was sought to have been transporting wine from the Greek
island of Chios when it sank. The amphorae closely resemble others
found to contain Chios wine, but may have been used to transport other
goods in ancient sea trade.

Speaking Out
In my lifetime we have gone from politeness and common
sense to political correctness. Ironically, the same people that want to
organize manners want to de-organize religion. In other words, they are very
confused. I am tired of the 85+ % liberal press and radical college professors
putting crap into young people's heads. Here are some places and articles where
you can hear common sense which is not regulated.
Where to get real news from both sides. What
a concept.

Since the hippies tried to save the world, every new
generation thinks it has the solution to all the problems the current leaders
have caused. It takes a long time to civilize a society. It doesn't take long
for "idealists" to destroy it.
I am conservative. I believe that our values and ideas
should continue unless they are proved to be inferior over time. I do not like
the liberal concept of trashing things that work and replacing them with things
that sound good. Study both sides to find out what is true. Stop
telling me I am a racist and hateful and more unless you have studied my side's
viewpoint. I do not like watching the media cause problems so they can sell
papers and airtime the next day while blaming those problems on the other side.
Wise up.
